Life as a Kindergarten Teacher: Thanh Hai’s Story

Cô giáo mầm non đang kể chuyện cổ tích cho các bé

“Nurturing green shoots, sowing dreams” – this saying is deeply ingrained in the hearts of those in early childhood education, and I am no exception. I am Thanh Hai, a kindergarten teacher with over 12 years of experience accompanying young children. Today, I want to share with you my thoughts, my joys and sorrows throughout my journey of “nurturing young sprouts.” Want to learn more about the early childhood education environment? The Joy of “Cultivating People”

Being a kindergarten teacher, the greatest joy is witnessing the children’s growth day by day. From their first unsteady steps, their babbling as they learn to speak, to when they confidently sing songs and boldly express themselves, all are memorable moments etched in the teacher’s heart. Some days, a tiny girl runs to hug me, whispering: “Teacher, I love you so much!”. Just that simple sentence is enough to dispel all fatigue and give me more motivation to continue dedicating myself. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, an expert in early childhood education, in her book “Cherishing Young Sprouts,” also affirmed: “The love of children is an endless source of inspiration for those in early childhood education.”

Challenges and Difficulties

However, every profession has its own difficulties, and early childhood education is no exception. The job requires patience, meticulousness, dedication, and constant creativity. Sometimes, the mischievousness and tantrums of young children can make me feel “at my wit’s end.” But then, with love and understanding, I always try to find appropriate ways to educate each child. At times, I feel pressure from parents’ expectations, and the increasingly high demands of the education sector. But I always tell myself that I must try harder to be worthy of the love and trust of the children, parents, and society. Just like our ancestors used to say: “Constant dripping wears away the stone.”

Spirituality and Early Childhood Education

Vietnamese people have always valued the spiritual element. In early childhood education, I also often incorporate fairy tales, folk songs, and traditional folk games to educate children about filial piety, love for their homeland and country. These traditional cultural values are like good seeds sown into the young souls of children, helping them form good character from their earliest years.

Meaningful Lessons

Every day that passes, I learn more valuable lessons from my little angels. The children teach me about innocence, about unconditional love, about how to see the world with clear, optimistic eyes. And I believe that these lessons have helped me become a better person, a better teacher. See more great articles about kindergarten teachers at những bài viết hay về cô giáo mầm non.
